To My Mom

I remember hugging you
from my bed
You felt like love
as your arms wrapped around me
I remember smelling you
from my pillow
as you came into the room
you smelled like vanilla
I remember seeing you
in the dark
you looked pretty
with your sweet smile
I remember listening to you
as you sang
your voice sounded good
like a waterfall
I remember hugging you
from my bed
